Sunday 26th July
We meet the Tour Leader at the Malta International Airport at 05.00 am to check-in for our Air Malta flight to Berlin departing at 07.00 am. Upon arrival, at around 10.00 am, our private coach will immediately takes us to our 4 star hotel in Berlin – Novotel Berlin am Tiergarten.  Familiarisation walk with the Tour Leader and assignment of rooms.

Monday 27th July
After breakfast we will be having the first excursion that will take us to West Berlin, optional.. We will see Berlin’s Cathedral and the five state museums on Museum Island that have been returned to their original glory (entrance extra). There are numerous gardens, lakes, woodlands and parks on this side, covering one-third of the city. There will be some time to visit the shopping mile in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Damm.

Tuesday 28th July
Breakfast and today’s optional excursion will take us to the other part of Berlin, East Berlin. After the Berlin Wall was pulled down in 1990, more than a hundred streets were reconnected and signs of the Wall’s existence have almost disappeared.  The site of Check Point Charlie is now a museum and visitors can see a chunk of the Wall decorated by local artists.  Check Point Charlie was the crossing point between East and West Berlin. The Brandenburg gate, the last remaining gate of the Berlin Wall, is regarded as one of the greatest symbols of German unity.

Wednesday 29th July
Breakfast.  Without any doubt, Potsdam is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and this is where we will be going today, optional.  Integrated into the attractive cultural ambience, the capital city of the State of Brandenburg is a natural destination to satisfy the most varied interests and demands.  Potsdam’s most popular sight is the Sanssouci Palace (entrance included) located in the park to which it gives its name.  However, there are far more than the former summer residency of Frederick the Great and the Sanssouci park to make your visit worthwhile.  The Alexandrowka, the Dutch Quarter and the Weaver’s quarter – the historic sections of the city – provide the flair of a city stepped in European tradition.

Thursday 30th July
After breakfast you can join the day’s optional excursion, this time taking us to Dresden.  Priceless art treasures and buildings of mesmerising beauty amidst the charming Elbe landscape are the hallmarks of Dresden, the capital of the state of Saxony.  The Elbe Valley, around Dresden is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it boasts lush meadows, magnificent villas and majestic palaces.  The construction boom of recent years has produced a number of architectural masterpieces that are attracting international acclaim.

Friday 31st July
Breakfast and afterwards we depart on a full day optional excursion to Mecklenburg Lake District and Muritz National Park.  Anyone who wants to leave the hustle and bustle of the overcrowded cities, the oppressive shadows of housing block canyons or the burdens of everyday life behind, will experience and unforgettable experience at Mecklenburg Lake District.  Here you can open your soul to the elements, feel at one with Mother Nature and enjoy her fruits with each of your senses.  Included in the excursion price is a boat trip on Lake Muritz.

Saturday 1st August
After breakfast we will be going to Hamburg, optional.  Hamburg boasts 31 theatres, six music halls, ten cabarets and 50 state and private museums.  The banks of the Elbe and the Alster rivers are ideal for a stroll.  We will see the City Hall, Stock Exchange, St.Michael’s Church and Kramer Amtsstuben.
